Advantages

Shanghai is the center of financial and trade in mainland China. It has one of the world’s busiest ports. Shanghai is undergoing a building boom; so if you are in the architecture business; Shanghai is a good place for you. Shanghai has an extensive public transport system and two commercial airports. As business travelers, you are easy to make your way in, out, and around the city.

Disadvantages
The rent of offices at Shanghai can be expensive comparing with other cities in China. Furthermore, Shanghai is the most populated city in China, so it can be crowded on the roads. Since there are many big companies in Shanghai, the business environment is really competitive.
